Thud/GHP Satellite team make finals at WA State Titles. The THUD Race team had a very successful start to their 2010 State titles campaign with all members of the team making State Finals. The squad consists of BULLDOG Tyler Versheren, PISTOL Pete Versheren, Nat Purser, Mike Purser, Brooke Macfarlane, COUGAR Ethan Pimblett, Ben Davis. Dylan Ouvard and Tony Hancox.That’s 9 riders in different classes, all making finals. Excellent achievement and each rider should be congratulated.

State Elite Champion Ben Davis
Factory ThudRacing/ GHP rider Ben Davis makes triumphant comeback after a 2 year break from BMX. In his first major outing, Ben Davis dominated the opposition at the West Australian State Titles. He is the newly crowned WA State Elite Champion for 2010. Sporting the new THUD Racing gear and riding a Factory GHP, Ben lead every moto and holeshot to the front in the main. The only glitch being when a rider passed him in the rhythm section. This only spurred Ben on to fly through the pro section, take the hard inside run to pedal back in front for the last straight sprint home. With the 2012 Olympics just around the corner, this is a great indicator that riders are hungry for that Olympic berth.

BEN DAVIS HAS RETURNED!

Multiple national Champion Ben Davis has returned! Early in October, the WA Cockburn Super Series saw the comeback of Former Factory DK Rider Ben Davis.
Now sporting a new sponsor in THUD Racing  and Co-Factory GHP [www.flowdist.com].Blasting his ProXL GHP around the track, one would be mistaken to think that Ben had not stopped racing. After a 2 year layoff, Ben debuted the new 2010 range of THUD Racing gear. Being his first race back, Ben easily won all his motos, quarters and comfortably qualified for the 3 race final. The long day took it's toll on all the riders. Fatigued and still a bit rusty, Ben managed to salvage 6th place, in front of 2 former World Champions in Daniel Sprague and Ryan Van Vught. A good indicator for things to come...WATCH THIS SPACE
